Another interesting and provocative book is Victor Johnston's "Why We Feel: The Science of Human Emotions." At least Johnston's theory of consciousness is novel, and his handling of emotions is much more on target. I have not used it too often just yet but I read through it and the recipes contained within are all fantastic i am excited to really implement it.. I really liked the nine year age difference between them.I didn't care much for Leander's brothers and thought the story could have done without them. This book is excellent and to the point. I highly recommend this work and this writer.. I am looking forward to this writer's next work of fiction with great anticipation. It is not customary for me to feel so moved by a book that I want to write a review. I was owning my "addiction" and I was sharing this with all these broken women and as I was speaking, it occurred to me that this was all wrong!! This was not the purpose of spousal recovery and this is not what God intended it to be for us. That, in essence, is what writing is all about, that ability to transport your reader into the lives of your creations, that ability to suspend reality, elicit empathy, and entertain. I am a Psychology major and I found this to be one of the most important works in the field. You don't want to scare the hell out of your child, but the book is lacking some empowerment in my opinion.. I
