I've used it very little thus far, but paging through it, picking subjects at random, it seems to be instructive and illustrated well.. They are cautionary tales. The real story is what happens after. The book begins at the heart of the matter: creating out of our core virtue, which in time, will attract a niche market. All of the content that I was looking for in this book is there - however, obviously the printing was done "on the cheap." Several pages have smears of dirt on them, and I found what looks to be a smashed bug in between a couple of pages. Vern's book gives everyone a peek into that club and its exclusive membership. And what experience!!! That of a sensitivity most deeply in touch with the world and the heart. The story was great and I very much enjoyed the protagonists. like our dad.. This workbook contains all the business information that you didn't get when you went through art school. I could not put it done 'til it was done.. I actually never quite finished Zoe's book Interference once it got close to the very end and it looked like it was about to spoil something for me, but I nevertheless really enjoyed it. My BMW R1200 has low mAs dartboards for the ills of contemporary society (poverty, racism/sexism, homophobia/transphobia, sexual/substance/physical abuse, mental illness, HIV/STDs, etc), young men and women that turn to the streets, alleys, cheap hotels and the Internet for survival are reflections and manifestations of a greater societal collapse. The meanings of "a hustler" or "a hustle" can be interpreted in many ways, but in gay urban society, the norm is young men providing sexual services to "customers" in exchange for money or other kinds of compensation such as gifts or intoxicants to their "boys." While it's easy for many to dismiss such individuals as scum of the streets (as with female prostitutes), hustlers often come from troubled backgrounds, and it's crucial that we not dehumanize them. In the pages of Hustler Rave XXX, Latino poets David Caleb Acevedo and Charlie Vázquez present portrait character studies of very human urban hustlers that seek to answer our strange sense of fascination with these young men.
