If this material is new, this book may be of interest to you.But, before buying this book, peruse Daniel Goldman's "Emotional Intelligence." Despite being over ten years old, and despite the error of locating all emotions in the amydala, it's otherwise a much more endearing and provocative work than LeDoux's (issued about the same time). I bought this for my husband's Kindle Fire and his biggest complaint was that the book referenced several illustrations but there were none on the Fire - what's with that? In any hardcover or paperback book the illustrations would have been close to the reference which helps to understand what the author is talking about. The real story is what happens after. The reader is kept engrossed in the ethos and passion of this story from cover to cover. That, in essence, is what writing is all about, that ability to transport your reader into the lives of your creations,
