THE PAGES ARE PRINTED ON ONE SIDE AND ARE ON HEAVY WEIGHT PAPER BUT I'D STILL USE A BACKING SHEET JUST IN CASE YOUR MEDIUM GOES THRU. After reading Judge Roderic Duncan's book, I was compelled to track him down by phone just to thank him for a book that needed to be written. The author uses her own work as well as that of other artists to illustrate the various methods of combining and blending color and includes a little color wheel with each image so the reader can see exactly how color choices were made.
