For those who will put in the time and the work, we will eventually be able to sell the work we want to create on our own terms. If you can't attend a workshop in person, this is the next best thing!. It is also an invaluable reference tool which I will refer to again and again as my business transitions toward my goal.This is an excellent resource for students and artists, but perhaps I should also mention that I am 62 and self-employed. It details how to find niche markets, make a business plan, and find out how to discover your core values as an art and a person. The first 3 chapters of Greg's book can apply to anyone unsure of a career choice as those chapters are geared toward honing in on what really inspires and motivates us. Many people choose a career based on parents' expectations, potential income, or society's ideas of success; however these choices do not always result in joy or personal fulfillment.
