The characters were very well developed, and the plot was super. It's packed with tons of great advice. Weiss' 5-day intensive (Heart to Heart Counseling) awhile back. Wealth and status protect them which I thought is just great as I dread tragedies and too much angst in regency gay romances. This book definitely goes with the 12 step program and traditions of AA.
