i appsulet love this book its one of best books ive gotten in a while. The book is well-documented and, for anyone in the Cleveland/Akron/Canton area especially, it's a fascinating read of a bizarre local murder. As Dante said, and repeatedly quoted in this book, "Abandon hope, ye who enter. All of the content that I was looking for in this book is there - however, obviously the printing was done "on the cheap." Several pages have smears of dirt on them, and I found what looks to be a smashed bug in between a couple of pages. This is a book to be read cover to coverthe poems progress that way, weaving in and out of personal experience to Edgewater, (both lake and metaphor), and back to personal experience again. Hubbards writing style takes you from a to b to c, yet somehow you always end up next at q. Decide on the approach based on your starting position, target score, time you have, and willingness to study math and grammar for months without a break.* Any other books I need to know about?YES. The fact that Ocean City (we go every summer) and Frederick (our hometown) are mentioned is icing on the cake!!!. True, it could use some grammatical assistance, but overall, thoroughly enjoyable.Much attention is focused on caring for children, houses, and checkbooks, but what about caring for the marriage? In this highly accessible and realistic book, marriage-retreat leader Mary Jo Pedersen guides couples through a marriage “check-up” that combines the latest social science research on healthy marriage with the wisdom of the Christian tradition. Throughout For Better, for Worse, for God, Pedersen offers practical steps couples can take to enrich their marriage, such as better communication and conflict resolution; an approach to praying together and experiencing spirituality as a couple; a refreshing view of sexuality; and an invitation to a renewed sense of mission as husband and wife. By engaging couples in a conversation about how faith influences and transforms the experience of married life, Pedersen ultimately shows that marriage is a call from God and that God’s continuous presence and grace make it possible to face the ups and downs of life together. For couples who have been married for more than a few years, daily obligations and packed schedules can cause husbands and wives to sense that they are doing little more than going through the motions of married life.
